"DUTERTE, ACCOUNTABLE! MARCOS PAY UP!"

Progressive groups staged a protest rally at the People Power Monument on Saturday, September 13, carrying banners that read “DUTERTE, ACCOUNTABLE! MARCOS, PAY UP!” to denounce the worsening corruption in the country.

Demonstrators demanded accountability for the alleged systematic plunder in government and called on leaders to face the consequences of their actions.

In the midst of the protest, rallyists also carried placards demanding “Mass arrests now!” as they urged authorities to act swiftly against those implicated in corruption and abuse of power.

Organizers stressed that their movement will continue to grow stronger until justice is served and the people’s clamor for truth and accountability is addressed.
