"Philippine Wins Silver at World Expo 2025"

The Philippine Pavilion at World Expo 2025 Osaka won the Silver Award for Exhibition Design from the Bureau International des Expositions, celebrating its creativity, storytelling, and immersive experience.

The honor was received by Raquel Tria-Joya, head of central information for the Philippine Pavilion Committee, alongside Poland (Gold) and Austria (Bronze).

“This Pavilion was more than a structure—it was our nation’s heartbeat,” said Tourism Promotions Board chief operating officer and Philippine Oganizing Committee secretary-general Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles. “We built pride, we built hope, we built a home for the Filipino spirit—here in Japan and in the eyes of the world.”
